So, after the puja, we celebrated our little sister's 12th birthday. Shanee made the cake, the icing, and she wrote "Happy B-day" on it with M&M's.
Surprisingly, we got only positive comments on the cake. We were expecting a characteristic "honest" evaluation from at least one of the guests at the party, but all ate and enjoyed!
Here is possibly one of the dorkiest pictures of me in existence. After seeing this picture, I ordered Shanee to never again allow me to stand with my hands on my waist. The hat, however, is totally cool.
