In April, we had some work in Calcutta. Calcutta in two words--hot and crowded. It is famous for its "man-pulled rickshaws" (see picture). Yes, pulling a rickshaw (often barefoot) is a real job for hundreds of Indians in Calcutta. No, we did not take a ride; we stuck with the slightly more modern bright yellow taxis.
