We spent the morning at the hospital here in Delhi getting some GI tests run on Joya. She started having some symptoms a few days ago and our pediatrician in the States advised us to get an endoscopy. Since we don't have access to those facilities in our city, we flew to Delhi to come to one of the nicer hospitals here and have it done. Our little girl was sedated for the procedure, but she came through it just fine. The doctor didn't find anything serious and we're waiting for the biopsy results to come out on Saturday.
Whatever it is, it can't be too serious, because Joya continues to be her normal, happy self. Here she is a few hours after the procedure doing email with her mom. She has been doing great all along and we're praying that the symptoms will go away and the problem will be resolved soon.
